To celebrate our upcoming exhibition on Dr. William Rush Dunton, Jr. and occupational therapy, each week we'll share a different occupation he recommended for the general public and patients under his care.
To cope with quarantine, many people have picked up hobbies that Dunton listed in his medical studies in the 1940s, such as gardening, puzzling, chair caning, woodworking, sewing, photography, and more. As we share pictures of Dunton and his patients involved with occupations, please share your “COVID Occupation” with us and learn more about this project at mdhs.org/exhibitions/wild-and-untamed
