AI can’t but our Preparators can! This week our Preparators re-installed two giant pronghorn antelope while performing maintenance work in the Lava Tube diorama in our Gallery of California Natural Sciences. 🦌Joining the pronghorn are a golden-mantled ground squirrel, California quail, great basin rattlesnake, and a common poorwill. Shoutout to our Preparators and conservators for the care and expertise it takes to preserve and reinstall specimens like these! Plan your visit to see this remarkable species and see if you can spot all the animals! 🐿️🦌🐦 #NaturalHistory #OMCA #OaklandMuseum #BayAreaMuseums #CaliforniaNature #VisitOakland #MuseumBehindTheScenes #ConservationWork #Taxidermy
