Ever wondered how the plants and animals in our galleries come to life? This Earth Month, meet Alicia Goode, Museum Taxidermist, whose work helps bring California’s ecosystems into the OMCA galleries through taxidermy and scenic fabrication. 🌿🐿️ Taxidermy isn’t just preservation—it’s a powerful way to study, protect, and connect with wildlife up close. Step into the Gallery of California Natural Sciences and “Good Fire: Tending Native Lands” to explore the state’s incredible biodiversity—from Yosemite to the coast—and discover how we can all play a role in conservation. 🌎 Watch the full video on our YouTube! #EarthDay #GoodFire #MuseumTaxidermy #OMCA #NaturalScienceMuseum
