In honor of National Homeownership Month, we're recognizing and celebrating Atlanta's South Park Cottages, the first Black-developed micro-community in the U.S. With floor plans ranging from 335 to 615 sq ft, these cottages made homeownership more affordable by making homes smaller. These photos are from the ribbon cutting and grand opening, and yes — that IS former Mayor of Atlanta and UN Ambassador Andrew Young!
