National Female Footballers Amelia Bubb and Osean Williams left the island on Monday for New Jersey to participate in the Sports Visitor Program (Youth Sports and Women's Empowerment). The program which runs from June 21st-July 5th, 2023 will see participants engaged in clinics and sessions on leadership, teambuilding and conflict resolution, as well as inclusion and equity in sports. It also shows young people how success in sports can translate into achievements in the classroom and life. Forty percent (40%) of the program will take place on the field while the other 60% will be in the classroom/workshop environment.
