In September of 1953, The Experimental Aircraft Association — now known as EAA AirVenture Oshkosh — held its first Fly-In Convention as a small part of the Milwaukee (Wis.) Air Pageant. Around 150 aviation enthusiasts attended the inaugural event, which featured homebuilt and modified aircraft. Over 70 years later, EAA AirVenture Oshkosh has grown into the “World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration” — welcoming more than 10,000 aircraft and 700,000 people from 90+ countries to come together for community connections, aviation education and dazzling air displays. #TeamBoeing is proud to be a part of the EAA legacy and we look forward to seeing everyone at #OSH26! 📸: EAA
