Today we celebrated the reveal of the BEAUTIFUL 737 MAX 7! Our employees and media took to snapping pics and surrounding this airplane with a sea of people--be sure to check out our Instagram Story to see more video and photos. In just a few weeks from now this airplane will take its first flight. Beneath the shiny exterior of 1E001, there is nearly 9 miles (14.5 kilometers) of orange wire set up to transmit data from the various sensors to the instrumentation racks, where engineers will analyze everything from airplane dynamics to brake temperatures.
