Although at first glance it looks similar to a Next-Generation 737-700, the design features of the MAX 7 – including powerful LEAP-1B engines, distinguishable Advanced Technology winglets and other improvements – will help this airplane to fly 500 nautical miles farther on 5 percent lower fuel costs per seat. This MAX 7 will roll out of the factory in early 2018 and will be the first of two test airplanes.
