#alwaysready #alwaysthere: Soldiers from the Idaho Army National Guard State Aviation Group worked with the Boise County Sheriff’s Office and the Idaho Mountain Search & Rescue Unit yesterday to aid an injured hiker near Scott Mountain. Soldiers worked with the IMSRU’s technical rescue team to splint the man, load him onto a litter and then hoist him into the Idaho Army National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. The flight crew airlifted him to a ground medical unit, where he was further transported to a local hospital.
