COMMUNITY COLLABORATION: Idaho Army National Guard recruiters partnered with Dennis Technical Education Center to involve approximately 200 high school students with completing a project called Operation Rebuild. The project involved a complete rebuild of a non-serviceable military HMMWV. Students from around the Treasure Valley with an elective class at DTEC worked together each period to completely redesign and rebuild the old vehicle for the Idaho National Guard recruiters to be able to use in future recruiting events. The DTEC rebuild team included students in the following classes: construction, welding, auto tech, auto body, diesel and graphic design. Students had to start from scratch and had full creative ability to rebuild the HMMWV. #operationrebuild #idahoarmynationalguardrecruiting #idahoarmynationalguard #dtec #hmmwv #dennistechnicaleducationcenter #idarng #idahonationalguard #idaho #boise #autotech #autobody #diesel #dieselmechanic #mechanic #rebuild #restoration
