Our joint color guard presented the colors at the Idaho State Capitol yesterday during the state's celebration of Idaho Day. Command Sgt. Maj. Scott White also spoke of the Idaho National Guard's strong presences throughout the state's history. The Idaho National Guard was formed just one year after Idaho became a state and has called at least 55 Idaho cities home since 1891. From Saint Anthony to Preston, the Idaho National Guard is currently spread out in nearly two dozen Idaho communities. #idahoday #idahonationalguard #idahostatecapitol #colorguard #idaho #thisisidaho #citizensoldier #citizenairmen #boise #idahohistory
