You can’t always see the mighty warthog coming, but you’ll know once it gets there. Airmen assigned to the 274th Air Support Operations Squadron, 107th Attack Wing, New York Air National Guard, observe 124fighterwing A-10 Thunderbolt IIs conduct a show of force during live-fire training scenarios at Fort Drum, N.Y., Sept. 20. As joint terminal attack controllers, one of their main roles is to control aircraft as the link between ground and air elements, resulting in the successful implementation of Air Force aircraft.
