Father’s Day is this Sunday! If you’re looking for a nice letterpress printed card, we have you covered! These letterpress printed Father’s Day greeting cards were printed with green rubber base ink using a 3x5 Kelsey Excelsior tabletop printing press. The card reads, “I’m very FORT-unate to have you as my dad!” The font is 24 point Caslon and the photo engraving of a wagon approaching a fort was obtained by our museum a year ago. The back of the card includes an image of a Washington hand press and the words “Printed at the Sacramento History Museum.” Thirty cards were printed in this press run. You can order a card through our website or purchase one in our museum store! #SacHistoryMuseum #FathersDay #fathersdaycard #pun #typography #arttok #sacramento #museum #History #letterpress #printingpress #asmr #printing
