Join us on Saturday, June 7th, at the State Indian Museum for the 46th Honored Elders Day as we celebrate the contributions and lived experiences of Native American Elders in our communities. This annual event honors and commemorates California Native Elders—the keepers of traditions—for their vital role in passing down the cultural history of Native people. Lunch will be provided for tribal Elders from all over California. Native dancers, community service organizations, and artisans offering arts and crafts will be present to enhance the community experience. Additionally, the governor’s office will present an official proclamation celebrating the contributions of California’s Native people. In this video, Kyle discusses our upcoming Honored Elders Day at. We hope to see you there! #castateindiammuseum #sacramento #castateparks #suttersfort #midtownsac #thingstodoinsacramento #history #sactiktok
