In a previous video, the one posted just before this one, Howard printed a phrase about his thoughts lately. Well, we decided to make copies of it! In this video, Jared letterpress printed, “Just because you can make or do something, it doesn’t mean you should!” in 30 point Caslon font. This was printed with black rubber base ink using a 3x5 Kelsey Excelsior tabletop printing press. Over 100 prints were made on this press run. Come get your own free print of this phrase at the Sacramento History Museum (while prints last). • • • #justbecause #typography #powerofthepress #SacHistoryMuseum #sacramento #museum #history #letterpress #printingpress #asmr #unintentionalasmr #printing #printmaking #oldsacramento
