Happy birthday to National Parks! On August 25, 1916, President Woodrow Wilson signed the Organic Act of 1916 creating the National Park Service. For today, Jared letterpress printed a small electrotype from the Lewis Winter Collection. This cut of a grizzly bear was made roughly 125-135 years ago. This was printed with black rubber base ink using our Washington hand press, which was made in 1852.
