We have a brand new photo engraving in the print shop at the Sacramento History Museum! It’s so new that the first time it is touching ink is for this video. This engraving is the Midtown Love logo for the Midtown Association. Come by the Sacramento History Museum’s table this Saturday, August 2nd, at the Midtown Farmers Market at 20th and K Streets and make your own print with our wooden Provisional Press. This was letterpress printed with black rubber base ink using our Washington hand press. • • • midtownfarmersmarket exploremidtown #exploremidtown #midtownsac #midtownlove #art #typography #powerofthepress #SacHistoryMuseum #sacramento #museum #history #letterpress #printingpress #printing #printmaking #oldsacramento
