May 1st is the Big Day of Giving! If you donate today, your gift will have double the impact! We thank and appreciate the support and generosity of the $8,000 Matching Gift by the James and Susan McClatchy Fund and the $5,000 Matching Gift by the Sacramento History Alliance Board of Directors for their support of the Sacramento History Museum and our mission to share the region’s history and the stories of our community. In this video, Howard discusses Big Day of Giving while letterpress printing “Thank you for supporting the Sacramento History Museum!” in 60 point Caslon font. This was printed with purple oil base ink using our Washington hand press. Thank you for watching our videos, donating, and supporting the Sacramento History Museum! bigdayofgiving.org/organization/sachistorymuseum • • • #BigDayOfGiving #bdog2025 #donate #typography #print #museum #history #sacramento #asmr #printingpress #letterpress #printing #sachistorymuseum #oldsacramento #printmaking
