February 7th is National Send A Card To A Friend Day! This day encourages you to send a card to a friend and also to remind you that Valentine’s Day is just a week away. For today, Jared letterpress printed a small electrotype from our miscellaneous collection in our Print Shop exhibit. The print depicts a man sitting at a desk reviewing something he has written, possibly a card. This was printed with black rubber base ink using our Washington hand press. Looking for a card to send? We have a variety of greeting cards available in our museum store and website! #SacHistoryMuseum #SendACardToAFriendDay #sendacard #greetingcard #sacramento #museumtok #History #letterpress #printing
