We know that work can be tough at times but we hope you have a pleasant day today, January 26, for National Fun At Work Day! While work can be fun at the print shop at the Sacramento History Museum, caution around the equipment and workplace safety are always important. In this video, Jared letterpress printed a photo engraving, made in the 1960s, from the Brett from Pennsylvania Collection. This depicts an image of a jack in the box clown and the text reads “ACCIDENTS POP when you’re not alert!” This print would likely be in an employee manual or break room. #SacHistoryMuseum #NationalFunAtWorkDay #funatwork #sacramento #museumtok #History #letterpress #printingpress #printing
