January 23rd is National Pie Day! This is not to be confused with Pi Day, which we will be observing on March 14th. The American Pie Council created National Pie Day in 1986 and no matter how you slice it, pie is one of our nation’s favorite desserts. For today, Jared letterpress printed a small photo engraving that he received recently from a coworker at the Sacramento History Museum. This print depicts a loaf of bread and a fresh baked pie.
