December 9th is National Christmas Card Day! This day serves as a reminder to get your cards, envelopes, and stamps all together to send out your holiday cards. For today, Howard letterpress printed a 100 year old electrotype of Santa Claus. This letterpress cut appears in the 1923 Specimen Book & Catalogue for the American Type Founders. This ink used is rhodamine red rubber base. To help spread the word, @Santa Claus 🎅🏻 ✨❄️ stopped by our print shop at the Sacramento History Museum! #SacHistoryMuseum #santajclaus #ChristmasCardDay #holidayseason #christmas #sacramento #museumtok #letterpress #printing
