Join us at the Sacramento History Museum for an unforgettable evening as we dive into the rich history of Sacramento Jazz and the West End with the incomparable Harley White Jr. Orchestra (theharleywhiteorchestra) on February 27th at 6pm! The West End Blues is a multimedia event combining the music of the Harley White Jr. Orchestra, performing big-band jazz, and true tales from Sacramento’s lost neighborhood, the West End, narrated by historian William Burg (sacramentohistorian). This combination of narrative, music, and historic images reveal the hidden histories, tragedies, and triumphs of Sacramentans whose stories might otherwise be forgotten. In this video, Harley White Jr. stops by the print shop to discuss the upcoming event. While discussing the event, Jared printed a newspaper headline stating, “THE WEST END BLUES FEB. 27 AT THE SACRAMENTO HISTORY MUSEUM” using our Washington hand press. See our website for details about the event! #SacHistoryMuseum #westend #jazz #bl...
