The exhibits team is working away putting up our next exhibit at the Sacramento History Museum! “Chinese Pioneers: Power and Politics in Exclusion-era Photographs,” an exhibit by the California Historical Society and Exhibit Envoy, examines life before and after the 1882 Chinese Exclusion Act - with the camera’s power to uplift and oppress. The exhibit includes a close look at Locke, the historic Chinese Delta town. This temporary exhibit opens tomorrow, January 31st! • • • #newexhibit #sacramentohistory #californiahistory #sacramento #thingstodoinsacramento #sachistorymuseum
