Fast times and innovative minds created a Kustom Kulture of hot rods and monsters. Rat Fink was one of the many monsters Ed “Big Daddy” Roth drew in the 1960s. This monster became synonymous with the Kulture. He was on cars, T-shirts, and toy models. Rat Fink represented a time of rebellion, individuality, and creativity. Visit the Sacramento History Museum to see custom models of Rat Fink and learn more about the Kulture, Ed “Big Daddy” Roth, and Stanley Mouse in our temporary exhibit, “Hot Rod Monsters,” on display until January 27, 2025. In this video, Roy discusses the temporary exhibit on display. • • • #ratfink #sachistorymuseum #art #visitsacramento #hereinsac #thingstodoinsacramento #museum #sacramento #history #oldsacramento
