December 14th is National Wreaths Across America Day! Wreaths Across America Day honors those that have served in the United States military and it is a coordinated effort at Arlington National Cemetery and 3,000 other cemeteries to have wreath-laying ceremonies at the gravesites of veterans. For today, Howard letterpress printed a unique holiday photo engraving that we have in our print shop exhibit at the Sacramento History Museum. This was printed with red oil base ink using our Washington hand press, which was made in 1852. • • • #WreathsAcrossAmericaDay #WreathsAcrossAmerica #wreath #wreaths #ink #sachistorymuseum #letterpress #museum #sacramento #printing #museumlife #publichistory #printingpress #asmr #oldsacramento
