With the big holiday approaching, we are highlighting some of the Christmas materials in our print shop exhibit. Many of these are available as holiday cards in our museum store and website! In this video, Howard letterpress printed one of the photo engravings that is available as a greeting card. This photo engraved depicts a dog with a ribbon and it includes the text “GREETINGS TO YOU.” This was printed with green rubber base ink using our Washington hand press. • • • #greetingcard #greetingcards #holidaycard #christmas #green #art #powerofthepress #SacHistoryMuseum #sacramento #museum #history #letterpress #printingpress #asmr #printing #oldsacramento
