Do you like comics and wonder how they’re made? Would you like to hone your doodling skills? Join us for Heroic Havoc, a Superhero Sketch Fest at the Sacramento History Museum on Monday, November 11th, from 11am to 3pm! Get tips on creating your own superhero character from local artists, then learn how to build an adventurous tale through storyboarding. In this video, one of our featured guests, Dan Bethel discusses the upcoming event. Dan has been writing and drawing comics for over 15 years. He is a Professor of Composition and Rhetoric at CSU, Sacramento, a comicker and a podcaster. All skill levels are welcomed to tap into their creative side for a day of drawing and storytelling. We’ll also have cool superhero items for purchase from local artists and vendors. Workshops for Heroic Havoc are free with Museum admission. • • • #sacramento #oldsacramento #oldsac #sacevents #thingstodoinsacramento #museum #comics #hereinsac #comicbooks #sachistorymuseum
