July 5th is National Workaholics Day! This day reminds us to balance our work and home life. While it might seem like Howard and Jared are always at work in our print shop exhibit, did you know they only work together two days a week? In this video, Jared letterpress printed a group of blacksmiths, a profession that would historically work sun up til sun down 6-7 days a week. This image was printed from an unmounted electrotype (copy of a woodcut), made 125 to 130 years ago, from the Lewis Winter Collection.
