Sometimes we just like to highlight the sounds of the press and show some artwork. This large linocut was recently engraved by a colleague who works with Jared and he thought he’d see how letterpress printing it would turn out. The print is of some California poppies in bloom with the sun in the top right corner. The paper used is a grainy heavy card stock. This was printed using a 4x6 Golding Official #2 tabletop printing press. Fifteen prints were printed on this press run using rhodamine red rubber base ink. • • • #linocut #linocutprint #ink #unintentionalasmr #oddlysatisfying #art #powerofthepress #SacHistoryMuseum #sacramento #museum #history #letterpress #printingpress #asmr #printing #oldsac #oldsacramento
