Last week, the four fluffy peregrine falcon chicks were banded and safely returned to their nest on top of Fox Hall. Peregrine falcons have been nesting in Lowell since 2004. 38 chicks have since been successfully raised! The bands allow biologists to track the falcons’ movements and histories over time. #umasslowell #peregrinefalcons
