January 6th is National Technology Day! At the Sacramento History Museum, we like to highlight our print shop exhibit with our historic printing presses that helped revolutionize how people received information in the 1800s. We are going a little different of a route today. For today, Howard printed an image from a photo engraving. This cut was originally made for a flyer our print shop created for a previous exhibit our museum had in conjunction with the former Science Center. Howard also discussed a past career he had and his connection to the printed image. Nothing like using old technology to print new technology! #NationalTechnologyDay #SacHistoryMuseum #letterpress #technology #museum #printing
