Come one, come all! Celebrate Spring with the fun, free and family-friendly Old Sacramento Spring Festival happening next Sunday, April 28th, from 11am to 3pm. A partnership of the Sacramento History Museum, Sacramento Living History, and the Sacramento Country Dance Society, the third-annual Old Sacramento Spring Festival invites you to join in hourly dances around a 15-foot maypole, as well as traditional country dances to live music. In addition to dancing, festival attendees can enjoy historic living history demonstrations, hands-on arts-and-crafts stations, hobby-horse races, gold panning, face painting, lawn games, and more. Bring the whole family down to the sycamore-shaded lawn just across from the Sacramento History Museum and California State Railroad Museum – and join in the merriment as we ring in Spring! • • • #sachistorymuseum #saclivinghistory #saccountrydancesociety #sactocds #maypole #mayday #oldsacramento #spring #thingstodoinsacramento #hereinsac
