“We’re the only D2 school to have a track & field complex only, so it sets us on a different level than 90% of the colleges in the country.” Kyle Rutledge, Director of Cross Country and Track & Field An elite facility purpose-built for elite athletes. Pittsburg State University’s Track & Field complex is a one-of-a-kind full field event facility with a 9-lane competition track and built-in spectator seating, eliminating the need to travel to multiple sites to view events and giving fans the best seat in the house. As the only devoted track & field complex across D2 athletics, Pitt State honored their incredible athletes and prepared the Gorialls to host more championships, recruit top tier talent, and continue their winning legacy.
