STAND WITH US! BILL SB 1399. This is quote from the letter suaysewshop wrote in support of BILL SB 1399. We show up and stand with our garment workers of Los Angeles and beyond. Humans aren’t machines, they are skilled laborers that deserve the same equal living wage the rest of us demand for ourselves. BUT their voice is often unheard or silenced because they are low income immigrants. oh hellll no. Not on our watch and hopefully not yours either! IF YOU PUT CLOTHES ON YOUR BACK EVERYDAY, you didn’t make yourself, THIS INVOLVES YOU! THE MADE IN LA STORY is often just that A STORY. Let’s make it illegal to not offer what is only fair and take the option of greed off the table for good! #standwithus ✊ ✊ ✊ #immigrantstories #immigrantstrong #usnotme #bechange #fairlabor #equalrights #fightforit #justiceforgarmentworkers #madeinla #madeinlosangeles #daylaborers #immigrantswelcome #conciousfashion #conciousliving #conciousconsumer #consumerbehavior #letsgetit
