Today is my birthday, but most importantly TO THE DAY it’s my 10 year anniversary with my dog Merle. My longest relationship 😜😜😜 Merle is the best thing that ever happened to me. 28 and driving her home from the shelter, she sat on my bench seat and we both looked at each other like... Let’s do this. She’s been my greatest teacher thus far in life. Her playfulness has made me be more present, her emotional sensitivity has taught me how to be careful of my tone around any subject 🤪 Her sweet, funny, intelligent nature has made the best companion on life’s adventures. We have grown food together all over the country, I have sewn for hours with her by my side. To all my friends who’ve put up with “Can Merle come too” for so many years, Thank you.
