Morning, y’all! When I’m not on gator patrol in the swamp, I’m out filming and doing social media for the LSU AgCenter. I was filming invasive apple snails in the crawfish ponds and trying not to fall in! Apple snails have become a problem for crawfish and rice farmers in southwest Louisiana. The snails are extremely disruptive to crawfish trapping and when traps are pulled for harvest, there are sometimes more snails than crawfish. #AppleSnail #InvasiveSpecies #Louisiana #Crawfish
