My first nutria rodeo was an absolute blast! Our team rocked it with a total of 220 nutria in two days! We placed 4th for most nutria with over 50 teams registered! Nutria are an invasive species in Louisiana that eat the native vegetation, adding to LA’s coastal erosion. The rodeo is a fun way to bring awareness to this issue and eliminate a small portion of the problem! #nutria #coastalerosion #hunter #invasivespecies #onlyinlouisiana #swamplife #louisiana #conservation #shehunts #huntwithanedge #realtree
