During our Orlando Campus Ribbon Cutting, we gave one of our Gainesville partners, Tarcha R., $5,000 for an organization she leads called, wishfulthinkingtoreality. Their mission is to be able to lighten the burden of breast cancer for survivors and their families, as well as continue working towards bringing the “wishful thinking” of breast cancer survivors to reality. They recently purchased two reclining chairs for their “Comfy Chair” program and holiday gifts for children of breast cancer survivors who are in the treatment phase or have recently passed from breast cancer.
