Football won. Viva Espana 🇪🇸🏆 Spain are World Champions. And as a former defender, I can only respect the way they did it. One goal conceded throughout the entire tournament. Just one. People always celebrate the goals, the skills and the moments of magic. But championships are also built through discipline, communication, positioning, sacrifice and the willingness to do the work that doesn’t always make the highlights. Spain didn’t only play beautiful football. They protected it. They stayed brave on the ball. They stayed connected without it. They trusted their identity from the first game until the last. That is what impressed me most. They didn’t reach the biggest game in football and suddenly become someone else. They stayed true to what brought them there.
