Morning everyone! So I’ve added some fluffy pink grasses to my Lockdown Loo! It’s all springalingadingdong now, but for the first year of living here, this loo was pretty rough and I was always embarrassed by it when people came round. Swipe 👉🏻 But at the beginning of Lockdown last year, I got a feeling this little space could be all bright and wonderful, so I started painting the walls - and then the ceiling - and then the floor - and then the cistern - and then the loo seat! 😂 Nearly a year on and it’s all still great, except the painted loo seat, which, despite three coats of bathroom paint and three coats of diamond hard varnish has started to wear thin. I should probably have sprayed it with enamel, but I wanted to use up the leftover paint from the mural. So I might have to find a real pink one to replace it.
