Morning! So just a little tribute to my mum, who really is a superwoman. Here are just a couple of stories - Just as her acting career was taking off, I came along by accident, much sooner in her marriage than planned! But when I was 6 months old she returned to her old show in the West End and spent the next 6 months with me in a pram in the wings of The Gielgud Theatre, while she acted on stage, ran off between scenes to feed me and then ran back on stage again! We actually ended up on the front cover of a book, which I’ll try to put up on Stories later. When she was 47 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and it was quite a hair raising time, but she survived and ended up becoming Chair of Breast Cancer care for 6 years. At nearly 79yrs old, she still works on the helpline 4 days a week. A few months ago she fell at home, unable to move for several hours.
