Morning everyone! So here’s Zach’s room from a new angle! Slightly 😂 To be fair, it’s simply the other side of the bed, but I’m happy! The tricky thing about his room is that it’s West facing and bang opposite a big butter yellow hotel, which reflects light in a truly blinding way. So it feels really dark in here most of the time - except late afternoon, when it gets flooded with beautiful light - and that’s when I always photograph it. So I’ve punched through the darkness a bit, by changing the lampshade to this white one (don’t get me started on how long it took to put together!) and adding some really bright green as a colour pop, with the blanket, plants and cushions. It’s amazing what a difference it makes! And Zach loves it! So lesson learned. The plants frame the bed and somehow give it a human touch and just this small bit of white really lifts the space and freshens it. Coco said his room now looks like a salad. I don’t disagree!
