Morning everyone! I realized this was the week, exactly a year ago, that I started painting these zig zags on the bathroom wall! I seriously believe that adding colour and pattern to your home is good for the soul (even if you’re in a rental, like me!), but sometimes the process can be soul destroying! When I look back at progress photos I feel physically ill, because it was SUCH painstaking hard work that took hours and hours and hours and ... why didn’t I just make some wallpaper and stick it up 😂 Swipe to see a few of the shots - I should have taken out shares in frog tape. And then I wrapped the shower in gold washi tape! But so worth it in the end, to have created a happy warm place where I can get some me time away from the chaos of kids, work etc. I really do love it. And in fact, I do produce it as wallpaper now - available on my website! Oh, by the way, I often get asked where the loo is in relation to the bathroom and the answer is - it’s behind you!
