Morning everyone! You may have noticed that I tend to pick up some fab bargains from Ikea - like those incredible paper shades in Coco’s room - but I also try to shop small as much as I can. Now more than ever, it’s time to give our small independent shops support. . . Here in Crystal Palace so many of them are struggling due to a combination of lockdown and road closures - and it’s going to be an ongoing issue going into the Winter. As a small independent business myself, although I don’t have a physical shop anymore, I’m still online and also know that it can still be a struggle even to get things manufactured, because of social distancing in workshops and other supply issues. . . So, if you’re walking around your local High Street, do pop in to your local independents, say something to them, encourage them to keep going and if you possibly can, buy something, even if it’s really small, even if it’s just a card.
