Morning everyone! Well I can’t believe I was featured on apartmenttherapy yesterday - with a full house tour and interview on their website - how thrilling is that?! Thank you all for your support! 💕 . . This is the view as we come up the main stairs from the front door and enter our flat, which is on the 1st floor and in the attic of a big Victorian detached house. Straight ahead is my bedroom and to the right is the kitchen. Swipe 👉🏻 to see the closest I can get to a Before photo. When we moved in this stairwell was wallpapered in a 1980s shiny damask and striped cream wall paper, but with the landlord’s permission I painted over it with this beautiful pink, which makes the whole entrance feel so much warmer and more welcoming. . . In the days when this whole house was a single family home, the pink stud wall wouldn’t have been here and this beautiful staircase with the deliciously warm wood handrail would have just curved up on to the open landing. It must have been beautiful! ...
