Morning everyone! I achieved one of my holiday goals for the first time ever this year - clean sheets on the bed and having the whole flat clean and tidy before we went away. It was a joy to come back to, but by yesterday evening, with no schooling and 2 of Coco’s friends on a sleepover, every room looked as though a bomb had hit it! I even found Zach’s bronze skull sculpture on the floor in the living room, so I thought I’d see what it looked like hung on the blue wall and I love it! The mix of bronze, salmon pinks and deep blue - enhanced by the pink light of the evening sunset - just Delicious! . . However, the kids were actually a little sheepish when they realised how much mess there was, so when they came into my room to ask if they could have a midnight feast last night, they started with a phrase that I taught them when they were toddlers - when they’d been a bit annoying and needed to make me happy again - “Mummy darling, light of my life, please ....” It works a treat every ...
