Morning everyone! It’s so stunning outside at the moment, but sadly I think it’s going to cloud over later, so a perfect day for cooking up a treat and curling up with a good book, I reckon! Of course, ‘as the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry’, I suspect my day will largely entail working and tidying up, but I live in hope! 😂 . . A nuanced, beautifully written and remarkably compassionate memoir about growing up in a brutal survivalist family in the Idaho mountains, but having the determination to educate herself, get out and get a place at both Cambridge and Harvard Universities. . .
