What a beautiful morning, with the sunlight steaming into the kitchen! This would have been the second weekend of my biggest show of the year, artistsopenhse, as part of the dulwichfestival, but alas it had to be cancelled of course. However, the marvellous organizers have taken a Make Do and Mend approach and created a Virtual Festival and Artists’ Open House instead. It doesn’t make up for people being able to see the art and designs in real life, but it does restore just a little bit of the magic of the show. . . This is one of my original paintings that I would have been exhibiting. I was also going to exhibit with the fabulous Colombian painter, dairovargas - we’ve been exhibiting together for 9 years now!
