What a weekend! We had visitors non stop for our Artists’ Open House show, so after talking for 7 hours straight both days, my throat is a little sore this morning! THANK YOU to all of you who came! It was fantastic to meet so many more insta friends in real life (hello skinnyscousebird!) and new people who came after seeing the obsmagazine article yesterday. And then we’re doing it all again NEXT WEEKEND! So do come along if you missed it this weekend. . . It’s funny though, because when I do a show and sell original paintings it can be a bit of an emotional roller coaster. I put so much into the originals that they always mean a lot and become very precious. They signify a moment in time, a feeling, a passion, a particular love. So when I sold my little painting of the yellow lemon yesterday, for some reason I actually burst into tears as I took the payment!
